Neon Pothos (Epipremnum aureum)
The color of new growth, all year long. Neon Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) holds that fresh chartreuse glow on every leaf, turning even a dim corner into somewhere spring lives.
It is the plant we hand people who say their apartment is too dark for plants. It softens bookshelves, brightens offices, and forgives nearly everything.
Neon Pothos care
- Light: Tolerates low light, glows brightest in medium indirect light.
- Water: Drink when the pot feels light in your hand, roughly weekly.
- Feed: Optional. A light feed in spring keeps the color electric.
- Pets: Keep away from nibbling cats and dogs, it is toxic if eaten.
- Growth: Vigorous trailing vines you can trim to any length.
How do I keep Neon Pothos so bright?
Give it decent light and trim it now and then. New leaves carry the loudest neon, so regular pinching keeps fresh growth coming. In deep shade the color shifts toward standard green.
