Born amidst the rich, verdant landscapes of Hawai'i, our founder Mike Perez found his first love: plants.

From the earliest days, plants were more than just decor; they were steadfast friends, offering solace and grounding through the ups and downs of life.

Mike's journey took an unexpected turn when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in challenging conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Though physically unscathed, the experiences left their mark, manifesting as creeping anxiety and depression.

Upon returning, he rediscovered his sanctuary in plants, which led to the idea that would soon become Planty Love Co.

We realized we weren't the only ones struggling to find quality pots that married functionality with aesthetics.

Mainstream options were uninspiring at best—drab, dull, and generic.
