Variegated Swiss Cheese Monstera Adansonii (Monstera adansonii variegata)
Marbled windows on a collector vine. The Variegated Monstera Adansonii splashes cream across its perforated leaves, each one a different balance of paint and plant.
Rare, yes, but not fragile. It grows with the same eager vining habit as the classic, just dressed for the occasion.
Variegated Monstera Adansonii care
- Light: Brighter than a standard Adansonii, since cream sections make no fuel.
- Water: Water as the upper mix dries, keeping roots aired.
- Balance: Prune any all green runners to protect variegation.
- Pets: Toxic if nibbled, display up high.
- Growth: Moderate vining, slightly slower than the green form.
How do you care for a variegated Monstera?
Like the regular one, plus one rule: more light, never harsh sun. The white tissue cannot photosynthesize, so the green parts need premium light to fund the whole leaf. Do that and it grows steadily.
