Black Gold Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata)
Charcoal leaves, gilded edges, zero maintenance anxiety. The Black Gold Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) pairs nearly black centers with clean golden borders on rigid, upright blades.
It is the formal wear of snake plants, sharp enough for an entryway or office lobby while surviving like a succulent.
Black Gold Snake Plant care
- Light: Flexible from shade to bright, colors deepest with some light.
- Water: Infrequent and deliberate, after the pot dries through.
- Spot: Entrances, offices, and anywhere needing structure.
- Pets: Best kept from pets, toxic when eaten.
- Growth: Stately and slow to about three feet.
Why is my snake plant mushy at the base?
Mush means rot, and rot means water sat too long. Pull the plant, trim soft tissue, let it callus a day, and repot in dry gritty mix. Healthy leaves can also be cut and rooted as backups.
